This is a smaller mower with a little less power, but it makes up for it with a tight turning radius and a decent, affordable price. This mower costs $1, 000. Question about throttle position when starting a John Deere riding mower?
I just got a new John Deere LA 115 riding lawnmower. It's a different brand and more advanced than the one I used to have. I had trouble starting it according to the directions which is to start it when the engine is cold with the throttle pushed to Full (rabbit). It will not start with throttle pushed all the way up, but it does start easily with the throttle halfway.
Is this normal or does it indicate that there is something in the motor isn't adjusted right?
